The clean that gets inspected is a different job
A regular clean is judged by how the property looks. A handover clean is judged by someone opening the cabinets, running a finger along the top of a door, and pulling out the fridge. Those are different jobs and pricing them the same is how people lose deposits.
So move-out work is scoped against what an inspection actually checks. Inside of every cabinet and drawer. Inside the oven and the fridge. Behind and under appliances that move. Baseboards, door tops, light fixtures, exhaust vents, window tracks.
Move-in work is the mirror image. Nobody wants to unpack into a stranger’s residue, and the window between keys and the removal van is usually short, so we schedule around the date rather than around our week.

Before you ask
We clean to the standard an inspection checks, which is the part you can control. We cannot speak to damage or wear that was there before we arrived, and we will tell you honestly at the walkthrough if we see something a clean will not fix.
Empty is faster, cheaper and better, because we can reach everything. We can work around furniture if the timing does not allow it, and we will scope it that way.
It depends on size and condition far more than on bedroom count. A vacant two bedroom in good order and a three bedroom that has not been deep cleaned in years are very different jobs, which is why we walk it first.
Yes. Carpet shampooing is quoted alongside the clean, and it is often what an inspection actually turns on.
Trash and junk removal can be added. Flag it on the quote form so it is priced in rather than discovered on the day.
